How do I join?

Because the society has become so successful over the last few years, our membership quota for women has been reached. We can no longer take on new female members. If you want to be put on our waiting list, please contact Gill Culshaw on 0151 531 7420 or mail Gill. We have also increased the age of joining the society to 16.

We meet every Thursday at St. Andrews Parish Hall, Damfield Lane , Maghull at 8.00 pm for chorus rehearsals and on Tuesdays at 8.00 pm principal rehearsals (Pajama Game, these nights are reversed). About 5 weeks prior to the show, we rehearse on Sundays afternoons too.

New members are always welcome, whether it's to perform or to help "the backroom staff" or just make the tea! We are a very friendly bunch and we have lots of social events too (click on "Social Events" link to see what we do!)

Once you have been to a few Thursday evenings and decided you would like to join us, you will then have to do a short audition to join the Company. This is not as daunting as it sounds! Just sing a song of your choice, or dance, or act for us. If you have other skills you want to use, ie. costume making, just let us know. We will let you know there and then if you are successful.

Subscriptions to join are as follows:-

Full £52.00
Non Acting £30.00
Student £25.00
Junior (16 - 18) £20.00

These fees can be paid in instalments.

Subscriptions cover the costs of hiring the rehearsal halls and equate to just £1.00 per week for a full acting member.
