Eric Rimmer, Director

Eric Rimmer caught the performing bug at an early age and never found the cure. This has been good news for MMTC: his service to the Company has been outstanding. "Hello Dolly" is his 5 th show as Director.

Eric started on stage, as a school boy, and has been connected with amateur "show biz" all his adult life. He was a member of St. Helens Amateur Operatic Society during its most successful period while at the same time writing Revues and producing school shows when he was a teacher. He has even worked as an extra in television.

"Dolly" is a particular favourite show of Eric's. He has directed it and appeared as Vandergelder. His long experience makes him still in demand as a Director by many societies. Eric has recently been made a life member of Maghull Musical Theatre Company: a well deserved honour!
