Sandy, Annies dog
(Harry, the bearded Collie, aged five

Harry, the bearded collieIrene, Harry's owner, acquired him from the Bearded Collie Rescue when he was just 7-8 months old. He was living with a flat owner without a garden and never went out. The dog had been bought, cheaply, by the flat owner, because he was not the correct colour for a Beardie, being all white with black ears and a black tail. Although initially a very nervous dog, he has made wonderful progress over the years. Since attending local Dog Training Courses, he has passed his Good Citizens Dog Award for Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Harry has appeared on TV's "mad about pets" with John Noakes, as well as being featured i the "Daily Mail" as the official Journal of the breed, "The Bearded News".

Harry is a P.A.T. dog (Pets as Therapy) working in the community by visiting Nursing Homes on a weekly basis. In fun Dog  Shows, he has won prizes for both appearance and talent, including dancing, in the Best trick Category.

So watch out, you Maghull Operatic hoofers, her comes the dancing dog, tapping out the rhythm of "I'm Just Wild About Harry"
