High Society
Hilary Burgoyne (Musical Director)
Hilary is a trained musician who studied piano, violin and composition in
Liverpool. She has had much experience playing with local amateur societies as
well as with bands of various kinds. She joined the M.A.O.S as accompanist for
"Kiss Me Kate" in 1997. This is her first show as Musical Director. The
experience has been enjoyable, although tinged with sadness because of the
death, last March, of Frank Glover. Frank, who was Musical Director of last
years show "My Fair Lady", had been the proposed director of "High Society".
Hilary thanks all the cast and production team for the hard work, patience and
good humour shown throughout the rehearsals.
